Shahrad Aynehchi, MD FACS

Shahrad Aynehchi, MD FACS is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association.

Dr. Aynehchi is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of UCLA. While at UCLA, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma, Psi Chi, and Golden Key national honor societies. He was the recipient of the Malcolm Stacey Scholarship, and College Honors at graduation. Dr. Aynehchi received his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he was awarded the Leonard Paul Wershub, M.D. Memorial Award, as well as Cor et Manus for recognition of service to the College. His general surgery and urology training were completed at St Vincent’s Manhattan, which was the level 1 trauma center for the September 11 attacks, and Westchester Medical Center. While in residency, he was recognized as an AUA Gerald P Murphy Scholar and a Pfizer Scholar in Urology.

Sepehr Nowfar, MD FACS MPH QME

Sepehr Nowfar, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and serves in many areas of physician leadership. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then attended Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans where he received his Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Public Health simultaneously. Dr. Nowfar is also a QME (Qualified Medical Evaluator).

Dr. Nowfar returned to California and completed his urology and general surgery residencies at UC San Diego. He joined West Coast Urology in 2011. He brings an extensive background in general urology combined with specialized training in urologic surgical oncology, advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He has been instrumental in the development of the robotics programs at Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center.
